The proprietor of Zest Bhutan started his career at the tender age of 21 years, in the hospitality industry with a Hotel Management degree (1999), from India’s premier Hotel Management Institute at Pusa, New Delhi. He started off as a Food & Beverages Consultant with the American Recreation Centre in Kathmandu, Nepal. After that he moved to Bhutan, where, he managed and ran a three star hotel for fourteen years. As General Manager of the Hotel, and Operations Manager of a Tour and Travel Company (with a sister concern in the US of A), he also handled the operations of the Travel and Tour Company owned by the hotel for 5 years. With 14 years of expertise in the hotel and tour operations area, he expanded his knowledge base with a Masters in Human Resource Management from Murdoch University in Perth, Australia. Armed with academic accolades, his expertise in the hospitality industry and in client servicing, his deep knowledge of human resource management and experience in the tours and travel industry, he has diversified further to operate and run his own travel and tour company.
